This project began with the redesign of Sachi's Café Bistro logo. I chose to redesign this logo because it looked outdated and wasn’t legible, or recognizable. The purpose of this project was to take a pre-existing logo to improve and update.
After the first round of about 30 logo sketches, I chose the top two concepts and started the second round of sketches (displayed below). I then chose the top two from the final round of sketches and further refined the logos, added colour and tested the scale.
Once the logo was complete, I moved on to designing stationery (business cards, envelopes, letterheads), mockups, and a branding guide.
